GDH Consulting is looking for an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal Electrical Engineer would have the following experience:

Job Description: 
  • Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models
  • Estimate time and cost to complete projects
  • Investigate and test vendors’ and competitors’ products 
  • Projects will required work with field Facilities Engineers, field automation personnel and corporate stakeholders 
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required 
  • 5 years’ experience in electrical design 
  • Minimum 3 years oil and gas experience 
  • Good understanding of codes (NEC, NFPA70E, API 500) 
  • Knowledge in sizing electrical equipment like transformers, Drives, MCC, Panels etc. 
  • Knowledge of procuring electrical equipment and how to read P&ID and instrumentation 
  • 30% travel required
